To ensure a safe and enjoyable experience for all our visitors, animals, and staff, we kindly ask that you review and follow the policies and guidelines below.
1. Supervision of Children
Children under the age of 12 must be supervised by an adult at all times while interacting with the animals.
2. Respect for Animals
All visitors must handle animals with care and respect. Do not chase, tease, or frighten any animals. Planet Zoo Malaysia’s staff(s) will provide instructions on how to safely interact with them.
3. Animal Feeding
Feeding of animals is only permitted with food provided or approved by Planet Zoo Malaysia. Please follow the instructions of our staff when feeding animals to ensure their safety and health.
4. Prohibited Items
Visitors are not allowed to bring outside food, sharp objects, or any hazardous items that could harm the animals or disturb the event.
5. Personal Responsibility
While our animals are well-trained and friendly, they are still living creatures with natural instincts. Please follow all safety instructions provided by our staff to avoid accidents or injuries.
Event & Booking Policies
1. Booking Confirmation
All event bookings must be confirmed with a deposit of 50% to secure the date and time. The full balance is due at least Seven (7) days before the event date.
2. Cancellations & Refunds
- Cancellations made 14 days before the event will receive a full refund.
- Cancellations made within three to seven days before the event will incur a 50% cancellation fee.
- No refunds will be provided for cancellations made less than 3 days before the event.
Animal Welfare & Safety
1. Animal Care Standards
At Planet Zoo Malaysia, we follow strict animal welfare guidelines to ensure the health and well-being of our animals. All our animals are regularly checked by veterinarians and receive proper care, diet, and exercise.
2. Limited Animal Interaction Time
To ensure the animals are not overworked or stressed, we limit the interaction time for each event. Animals will be given breaks and rest periods as needed.
3. Handling Rules
Only Planet Zoo Malaysia’s staff or trained handlers are permitted to hold, pick up, or transport animals. Visitors can touch or feed animals under staff supervision but are not allowed to handle them independently.
4. Reporting Issues
If any visitor notices signs of distress or discomfort in an animal, they are encouraged to inform a Planet Zoo Malaysia’s staff member immediately.
Health & Safety Guidelines
1. Hygiene & Cleanliness
Hand sanitizers and/or wash stations will be available at all events. All visitors are encouraged to sanitize their hands before and after interacting with the animals.
2. Animal Allergies
If any visitors have allergies or conditions that might be affected by animals, please inform Planet Zoo Malaysia’s staff in advance. It is the responsibility of the visitor to take necessary precautions.
3. First Aid
A basic first aid kit will be available at all Planet Zoo Malaysia’s events. For more serious injuries, medical professionals will be contacted immediately.
Mobile Petting Zoo Guidelines
1. Location Requirements
The mobile petting zoo requires a flat, clean, and safe area for the setup of enclosures and animal activities. Planet Zoo Malaysia’s staff will assess the location before the event to ensure suitability.
2. Event Duration
Standard mobile petting zoo events last for two (2) hours. Additional time can be arranged with prior notice and may incur extra charges.
3. Petting Zoo Capacity
To ensure the well-being of our animals, there is a maximum number of people allowed to interact with them at any one time. Planet Zoo Malaysia’s staff will monitor and manage crowd control for safety.
Mobile Petting Zoo - Animal Policy
1. Animal Selection
The type and number of animals brought to an event will be determined based on the package selected, venue suitability, and animal welfare considerations.
We reserve the right to substitute, reduce, or change the animals at any time due to weather conditions, animal health, or other operational requirements.
2. Animal Welfare
All animals are regularly checked and monitored by trained staff to ensure they are healthy and stress-free before, during, and after the event.
Animals will be rotated or rested as needed during the event to prevent fatigue or overstimulation.
3. Interaction Rules
Visitors must follow all staff instructions when interacting with animals.
Feeding, holding, or entering enclosures is only permitted under staff supervision.
Rough handling or teasing of animals is strictly prohibited and may result in immediate removal from the petting area.
4. Weather Conditions
In the event of extreme heat, heavy rain, or other adverse weather conditions, animal interactions may be paused, modified, or cancelled to ensure animal safety.
5. Venue Requirements
The client must ensure the venue is secure, shaded (if outdoors), and suitable for the selected animals.
Clean water and a calm environment must be available to minimize stress for the animals.
6. Animal Substitutions
Specific animal requests will be accommodated where possible, but substitutions may occur based on animal availability, temperament, and health.
Planet Zoo Malaysia’s Right to Refuse Service
1. Safety Concerns
Planet Zoo reserves the right to refuse or stop services at any event if the staff feel that the animals, visitors, or staff are at risk of harm or distress.
2. Non-compliance
Visitors who do not follow the provided guidelines or instructions from Planet Zoo Malaysia’s staff may be asked to leave the event, without a refund.
